The Rwanda One Health Innovation Network (ROHIN) recently participated in a regional One Health meeting in Kenya, bringing together experts, policymakers, and practitioners from across East Africa to address shared health challenges at the human–animal–environment interface.
The meeting provided a platform to:
- Share experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions in One Health
- Discuss strategies for zoonotic disease prevention, antimicrobial resistance, and environmental health
- Strengthen regional collaboration and networking among One Health stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for joint research, training, and capacity-building initiatives
ROHIN’s participation highlights our commitment to regional and international collaboration, ensuring that Rwanda remains actively engaged in advancing sustainable, evidence-based One Health solutions.
Through these engagements, we continue to strengthen partnerships, exchange knowledge, and contribute to a safer, healthier, and more resilient One Health ecosystem in Rwanda and the region.
